We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically skilled person to support our Area Business Control Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analysing Logistics and Services product performance, performing internal controls, and supporting on month-end closures. The role requires a strong ability to identify and correct job costing errors, provide detailed explanations for gross profit (GP) variances, and ensure the accuracy of revenue and cost data. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills to connect with different teams in a large organisation across several geographies and influence them to prioritize requests for error corrections or KPI deviations.



Key Responsibilities:

Analytical Review: Regularly analyse LnS products to monitor/a revenue and profitability by different parameters (service, service type, customer, etc). Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Drive key finops process by ensuring quality, accuracy, completeness and timeliness for revenue and cost to be updated in the systems. Review loss making shipments and follow up. Finding root cause and determine corrective actions.
Internal Controls: Conduct thorough internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Closure of audit findings. Recommend corrective actions.
Month-End Closures: Support on the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete. Provide detailed reports and explanations for GP variances.
Health Metrics: Monitor/a health metrics performance, flag risks and drive initiatives for improvement, including specific tactical actions on backlogs.
Job Costing Accruals: Identify and correct job costing errors. Ensure all corrections are accurately documented and communicated.
Performance Reporting: Prepare insights on LnS performance, including key metrics and insights for senior management.
System implementations: Support on new system implementations

Requisitos
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or financial analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with financial software is a plus.
English proficiency in both written and verbal.

Knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
Strong interpersonal skills to connect with different teams and influence them to prioritize requests.
